Being With Horses
"Second time as good as first, magical time!"
This was our second time with the herd for me and my
son but this time we took my uncle and my youngest son
who is 6. We had a amazing time, Veronika and Lennon
know their stuff when it comes to looking after the herd,
we had Daniel taking amazing photos while we rode and
swam with the horses. We were greeted like old friends.
The horses are well kept and they choose who will ride
them which is fun waiting to see who you will get.
If you show the horses love and respect then you will
have a amazing time, the groups are small so make sure
you book well in advance(we did it when we were still in
England to make sure we got the dates we wanted).
I would make sure you take a change of clothes as you
are very wet when your done and the taxi drivers don't
like you getting in the cars wet( there is a changing room
If you take a treat for the horses make sure it's man-
gos or pineapple as they don't eat the same as English
horses (but 2 of the horses still love mints). Lol
There are lockers for all you stuff that you can lock if
you need them and water for after the ride.
Other than that all I can say is this is a must and you
should have a amazing time even if you have never rode
before. It suits all ages. (one lady had never been on a
horse in our group and at the start was very worried that
she would not be able to do it, but then while we were in
the sea she stood up on the horses back!!! My two boys
also did this ... AMAZING!!).
Thanks guys for a great life experience.

A recipe for boiled corn?
Surely you jest! But we're not
talking any old boiled corn here.
You see, when Tobagonians pre-
pare corn it's more than just
some salt and pat of butter.
Our corn is boiled in a savoury
concoction of herbs and spices
giving it a totally unique flavour.
We typically enjoy it as snack
rather than as a side to meal.
