Choir (Shac) will celebrate its 30th
anniversary with two gala shows
on October 25-26. Joining the cel-
ebrated group will be The Lydi-
ans, Marionettes Chorale, Bank
Notes Choir, and Pedro "Timmy"
Lezama. Both concerts will be
held at Central Bank Auditorium,
St Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain.
Founded in 1984, Shac is now
deemed a cultural institution and
icon of T&T. Shac evolved from
the Signal Hill Senior Compre-
hensive School Folk Choir, which
dominated the Folk category of the
T&T Music Festival in 1982 and
emerged as National Junior Folk
In 1984 Shac captured the
National Folk Championship award
at the music festival.
The choir is directed by John
Arnold, one of its founders, who
is assisted by Georgina Peterkin,
Shac dominated the National
Music Festival during the 1980s
and retired from this competition
in 1990 after winning the Calypso
Chorale, a new class.
The group also won the first
Music Festival of the new millen-
nium and, in 2002, was acclaimed
Most Outstanding Adult Choir and
Most Outstanding School Choir.
The choir has performed for
many world dignitaries including
Queen Elizabeth II and Archbishop
Desmond Tutu of South Africa.
Shac has also performed at sev-
eral international choral festivals
including the UN Assembly Hall
in New York in 2012 with six other
international choirs. The choir
recently repeated its UN Assembly
Hall repertoire in July, but this time
in Geneva, Switzerland.

The incumbent organizes, develops and maintains systematic collection of books, periodicals and other recorded
material and makes them available to the members of the Bureau sta and stakeholders.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made by "Brian
Barton Hackshaw and Germaine Marie Fleurette Hackshaw" to have
the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereunder brought under the
provisions of the Real Property Act and that the Judge of the High Court
dealing with the said application has ordered that notice of the said
application be advertised once per week for four consecutive weeks in
two daily newspapers of general circulation in Trinidad and Tobago and
that if no Caveat be lodged within three months from the date of the first
of such advertisements the Registrar General may bring the said parcel of
land under the provisions of the Real Property Act.

ALL AND SINGULAR that freehold piece or parcel of land Situate in the
Island of Gasparee in the Ward of Diego Martin in the County of St. George
in the island of Trinidad comprising FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE
POINT ZERO SQUARE METRES (465.0m2) more or less and bounded
on the North by the Sea and by lands of Dennis Gibbon on the South by
lands of Dennis Gibbon and by lands of Hugh Gransaul on the East by
lands of Hugh Gransaul and by the Sea and on the West by lands of
Dennis Gibbon which is located at Istrouma Bay Gasparee Island and
shown on the location plan of the Island hereunder.
