Fibre Optic Construction Managers (6):
The successful candidate will have 10+ years' Senior Project Management
experience with related project management quali cations. Experience of
project management in large scale FTTH and/or Telecommunications projects
is essential. Candidates must be fully conversant with international Health and
Safety regulations (OSHAS and ISO). Candidates will have ILM/CMI diploma or
other management training/ experience and must be capable of forecasting/
planning detailed FTTH construction projects.
Fibre Optic Construction Supervisors (11):
The successful candidates will have 7+ years of construction experience
at a supervisory or management level on large scale bre optic/
telecommunications rollout projects. The persons will require an Advanced
Certi cate in Telecommunications or Access Networks Technology. Knowledge
of splicing is a major advantage as well as experience of international Health
and Safety standards (OSHAS and ISO).
Civils Supervisors (2):
The successful candidates will have a degree or 15+ years' international
experience with international construction companies, some of which will be
in bre optic or telecommunications projects. Experience connecting to live
service and managing all health and safety aspects in line with international
standards. Underground/overground construction as well as electrical
contract experience is a must. Tra c management experience would be an
The successful candidate will have a degree in Construction Health and Safety
along with Certi cates in Management Safety in Construction, Occupational
Health and First Aid. With over 10+ years' experience large scale projects in
telecommunications and bre optics, the person will have a strong record of
managing safe working on sites and, be capable of providing instruction for
working at height and with mobile platform erection and inspection. Intimate
knowledge of international safety standards a prerequisite.
Fibre Optics Splicing Supervisors (3):
The successful candidates will have Certi cation in Networks and Fibre Optic
installation. Persons will have 5+ years' experience in large scale international
bre optic network rollout, implementation and maintenance projects as well
as training in bre optics systems testing and splicing. Current knowledge of
bre optic technologies is a necessity.
Fibre Optic Network Technical Project Manager:
The successful candidate will be quali ed in Telecoms Engineering or related
area. A Certi ed Network Associate, the person will have extensive experience
in bre optic networks and technologies as well as international experience in
the project management of large scale bre optic network installations.
Group Finance Manager:
The successful candidate will be a quali ed ACCA with international accounting
experience in international large scale construction projects. Experience in
negotiating commercial contracts and the development of ERP systems.
Knowledge of Irish nancial regulations and signi cant audit experience is a
IT Support Manager:
The successful candidate will have an MBA in Information Systems with
evidence of continued IT training in areas such as Technology Architecture
Design, Business Integration, Sharepoint etc. The person will have 10+ years'
international experience in IT applications. Knowledge of managing a team
of IT Technicians across multiple country sites and software development
experience are a necessity.
Fibre Engineering and Logistics Manager:
The successful will be quali ed to MSc level in Logistics or Engineering
discipline. The person must have proven track record in managing a large
warehouse for a company catering for FTTH crews. Experience in the ordering
and management of specialised stocks for FTTH projects and computer
pro ciency in Autocad, Dialux and IES is a necessity. Experience in Network
Engineering would be a distinct advantage.
Fibre Procurement Specialist:
The successful candidate will have extensive lead procurement management
experience in an international group procurement operations role. Experience
in handling multi-million dollar procurement projects with proven leadership
skills are a must. Strong knowledge of procurement IT systems is required as
well as experience in project management in large international projects.
The successful candidate will have a BSc in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
The person will have experience of quality supervision in an FTTH project and
be conversant with computer systems such as MATLAB. Knowledge of quality
standards as they relate to FTTH projects is essential.
Quantity Surveyor (2):
The successful candidate will have a degree in Construction Management
or a related discipline. Experience as a Q.S. on major projects is a distinct
advantage. The person will have international experience in the management
of subcontractors, including agreeing accounts and variations, as well as in
the preparation and agreement of nal accounts. Knowledge of records
management and in project management is a necessity. Further education in
Construction Law would be an advantage.
Process & Solutions Manager:
The successful candidate will have an MSc in Electronics orTelecommunications.
The person will have 10+ years' experience as a Process Solutions Manager
for an FTTH project as well as on international large scale telecommunication
projects. Experience in project management and OSP Engineering is a necessity
as well as having familiarity with GIS. Knowledge of bre optic equipment for
splicing/testing would be an advantage.
Special Projects Manager:
The successful candidate will have 10+years' experience in start-up projects
related to telecommunications and have an electrical quali cation. Detailed
knowledge of structured cabling technology, data centre optimisation and
operation as well as networks. Telecommunications engineering experience
along with capacity and diversity planning, project management across
multiple locations as well as a detailed knowledge of cabling infrastructure
are essential for this role.
