CENTRAL TENDERS BOARD
Prequalification of Contractors for Infrastructure Projects for the Engineering Division,
Ministry of Food Production for a period of two (2) years
The Ministry of Food Production is desirous of pre-qualifying contractors for Infrastructure
Projects - Agricultural Access Roads, Water Management Works and Building Refurbishment
and Construction for a period of two (2) years.
Applicants are expected to have the practical skill and experience acquired as a contractor in the
execution of works of a similar nature and to be equipped with an ample quantity of manpower,
suitable plant and equipment, financial capacity and in every respect, fully competent to under-
take the execution of the contracts.
Prequalification documents can be obtained during normal working hours at the Central Tenders
Board's Office, 116 Frederick Street, Port of Spain. Telephone No: 625 - 4330.

A meeting for prospective applicants would be held at the Engineering Division's Car Park, Cor.
Mausica Road and Caroni North Bank Road, Centeno on Friday 27th March, 2015 at 10.00 a.m.
Prospective applicants should make every attempt to attend this meeting.
Prequalification questionnaires must be accompanied by: -
(i) valid Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of
Inland Revenue; and
(ii) a valid Certificate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act.
The original and one (1) copy of the completed prequalification questionnaire for each project
must be placed in separate sealed envelopes addressed to the Chairman, Central Tenders
Board, 116 Frederick Street, Port of Spain and clearly marked on the outside: -
"Prequalification of Contractors for Infrastructure Projects (Agricultural Access Roads)
for the Engineering Division, Ministry of Food Production for a Period of Two (2) Years"
"Prequalification of Contractors for Infrastructure Projects (Water Management Works) for
the Engineering Division, Ministry of Food Production for a Period of Two (2) Years"
"Prequalification of Contractors for Infrastructure Projects (Building Refurbishment and
Construction) for the Engineering Division, Ministry of Food Production for a Period of
Two (2) Years"
Envelopes must be deposited in the BROWN Tenders Box located in the lobby of the Board's
Office not later than 1.00 P.M. on THURSDAY 9th APRIL, 2015.
Applicants should note that the dimensions of the SLOT of the Tenders Box are 37.5 cm x 5.5
cm and prequalification questionnaires should therefore be packaged accordingly.
Questionnaires will be opened shortly after closing of the Tenders Box. The applicant or an
authorized representative may be present at the opening.
Late submissions will not be considered in any circumstances.
The Central Tenders Board reserves the right to cancel the prequalification exercise in its entirety or
even partially, without defraying any cost incurred by any applicant in submitting their applications.

defeated Fyzabad Quarters 75-70. For

added 18 points, nine rebounds and

the Dragons which led 35-28 at half-

The first match of the double-header
and the opening Under-15 fixture for
the season, saw St Joseph Secondary
trounce Northeastern College 58-21.
The highlight of the show was centre
Shaquille Bertrand, who scored 35
points including three massive dunks,
which set the match alight.
Bertrand is expected to be the focus
of many this season, given his intent
to compete in all three age divisions.
He was well reliably supported by
Joshua Sheppard, who added 21 points.
On the opposite end, Khidr Pasqual
led for Northeastern College with nine
points, all of which were from behind
the three-point arc.
Action will continue on Monday at
the Maloney Indoor Sporting Arena,
when El Dorado East faces Northeastern
College in Under-17 competition from
1.30 pm, before Trinity College East
and North Eastern College duel in the
