It has been noted by the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force that there are
instances of the Procurement and Supply of Goods and Services without the issue
of a valid Invoice Order (Purchase Order), a practice that is in breach of
Government procurement requirements.
Be advised that ALL PURCHASES or REQUESTS for the supply of Goods and
Services for the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (Regiment/Coast Guard/Air
Guard/Defence Force Headquarters/Defence Force Reserves) MUST be supported
by a duly authorised and signed Invoice Order issued by the Finance Department
of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force. The Invoice Order must be signed and
bear the official stamp of the STAFF OFFICER 11 FINANCE.
Kindly Note that the TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO DEFENCE FORCE will accept no
liability for claims arising out of the Supply of Goods and Services without the
support of an approved Invoice Order.

TAKE NOTICE that the Claimant has filed a Claim Form and Statement of Case
in the High Court of Justice, Knox Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad, on the 13thday
of October, 2014 in which the Claimant is seeking the following reliefs: -
1) General Damages for pain and suffering and loss of amenity;
2) Special Damages together with loss of earnings from the 15th October,
2010 to the date of Judgment;
3) Future loss of earnings in accordance with the Multiplier X Multiplicand
4) Future Medical treatment and medication to be assessed;
5) Future Domestic Care;
7) Interest on the damages awarded at twelve percent (12%) per annum from
the 15th day of October, 2010 to the date of payment pursuant to Section
25 of the Supreme Court Act Chapter 4:01;
8) An Order/Declaration that the Policy of Insurance Number 39/M/008145
issued by Motor & General Insurance Company Limited, now in Compulsory
Liquidation, for the coverage of motor vehicle registration number PBL-6019
for the period 17th June, 2010 to the 16th December, 2010 is valid, and that
the appointed Liquidators of the said Motor & General Insurance Company
Limited are liable to satisfy any Judgment that may be entered against the
Defendant in addition to all costs and interests payable in respect of such
Judgment and any other costs that the Defendant may be liable to pay
within such time as this Honourable Court may direct;
9) All necessary and consequential Orders, Directions and Inquiries that his
Honourable Court may deem just and expedient in the circumstances.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that it has been ordered by the Honourable Mr.
Justice Andre Des Vignes on the 24th day of February, 2015 that personal serv-
ice of the Claim Form and Statement of Case filed herein on the 13th day of
October, 2014 be dispensed with and that service of the said Claim Form and
Statement of Case be effected on you by way of advertisement in a newspaper
of daily circulation once per week for two (2) consecutive weeks.
IF you desire to defend this action, you must within twenty-eight (28) days from
the date of the last advertisement, enter an Appearance at the Civil Court Office,
Hall of Justice, Knox Street, Port of Spain. in default of such Appearance, this
Honourable Court may make an Order that is just and expedient in the circum-
