Ian Alleyne was busy investigating
In one case he aired footage of
his visit to the home of business-
man/car dealer Mark Mohammed.
Mohammed, 26, was killed after
he and his girlfriend Adanna Lalla,
27, were ambushed by gunmen as
they pulled into the driveway of
their Ross Trace, St Helena Village,
Caroni, home on Sunday around
Mark, who was shot several
times, died at the scene while Lalla,
who was shot once, remains in hos-
pital. Their seven-year-old son,
who was in the back seat of the
car, was uninjured.
Alleyne is looking for two men
seen speeding away on a red and
white motorcycle; anyone with
information is asked to contact him
The Crime Watch host also vis-
ited the David Toby Road, Chin
Chin, Cunupia, area to probe the
murder of Shan "Beeper" Bhaijoo
Bhaijoo, 29, was found with bul-
let wounds to his head.
Alleyne visited Paul Augustus
Trace, Chin Chin, where Bhaijoo
rented a house. He is calling on
anyone with information to please
contact Crime Watch.
In another story, Alleyne was on
the scene where Rohan "Uncle
Badge" Singh, 73, drowned in a
river at Todd s Road, Caparo. Singh
reportedly drowned while attempt-
ing to throw flowers during prayers.
Alleyne comforted the sister and
family of Singh.

Car dealer's murder rocks Caroni
Seven people were arrested after
police seized guns, ammunition and
other paraphernalia at Second Cale-
donia, Morvant, yesterday.
A machine gun, two handguns,
several rounds of ammunition, a mask
and army-issue boots were seized by
members of the North Eastern Divi-
sion Task Force, after they searched
a house in the community during an
exercise held between 3 am and 10.30
am. The police also seized a quantity

Insp Alexander spearheaded the oper-
ation, which also included Sgt Taylor,
Cpl Quashie and Cpl Small.
Police said the men fit the descrip-
tion of suspects wanted for shootings
in the area.
Cops seize machine gun
Alleyne also aired footage this week of a man
whose wallet was allegedly stolen after it fell
from him at Medford Gas Station, Endeavour,
The footage showed the man's wallet falling
out as he entered his car after pumping gas and
drove off. The driver in the vehicle behind him
then drove up, picked up the wallet and went on
pumping gas in his car. The wallet contained
After airing the footage, Alleyne was able to
locate the family of the man who took up the
wallet. His relatives told Alleyne that their
relative was suffering from Alzheimer's disease
and this caused him to do unexplainable things.
As such, they said, he had no recollection of
picking up the wallet.
The Crime Watch host continued his
investigation by contacting the man's doctors,
who also confirmed he was in the first stage of
the disease. The family was very apologetic on
behalf of their relative and agreed to return the
sum of money to the owner.
Alleyne contacted the owner of the wallet,
explained the situation to him and subsequently
returned the money to him.
A Gold Toyota Hilux, TCZ 2836, was stolen on Wednesday
between 6 and 7 pm at Plaisance, St Ann's.
Anyone who knows the whereabout or has seen this vehicle
is asked to please contact Crime Watch with the information.
Lawrence Bacchus, of Chaguaramas, is looking for his wife,
Nicole Sharlene Balliram, and their 13 month-old-son.
Father of four, Martin Johnson, of East Dry River, Port-of-
Spain, is also looking for his wife, Psyche Johnson, who left
home on April 17 at approximately 10.30 am and has not been
Johnson visited the Crime Watch set seeking public
assistance. Alleyne aired his story and is asking anyone who
may have information on John's whereabouts to contact him.
