JUNIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Working knowledge of maintaining the General ledger, analysis of
expense accounts as well as balance sheet accounts recommending
accruals and adjustments as needed. Review and/or input of accounts
receivable and payable prior to entry into the financial systems. Assist in
the preparation of reports, presentations and financial statements and
Relevant formal Qualifications and Expertise in using Peachtree
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or at least second level CA, CPA or
ACCA qualification. Peachtree Accounting and Microsoft Office suite
competency would be an asset.
Experience in Auditing will be considered an asset.

An unbroken 90-run seventh wicket
partnership between Nathaniel
McDavid and Saiba Batoosingh led the
national Under-17 team to a four-wick-
et win over Leeward Islands in the
opening round of the West Indies
Cricket Board Regional U-17 tourna-
ment in Tobago, yesterday.
McDavid and Batoosingh joined forces
with T&T in a spot of bother on 118/6
after 23.2 overs, chasing 208 for victory.
The duo avoided any further damage,
steering T&T to 208/6 off 35.5 overs
with McDavid top scoring with an
unbeaten 52 and Batoosingh closing on
40 not out.
McDavid, batting at number eight,
slammed four fours and four sixes in
his 39-ball knock, while Batoosingh
struck six fours in his 50-ball innings.
Opener Keagan Simmons showed prom-
ise at the top of the innings scoring 51
off 59 balls which included nine fours.
Unfortunately Cephas Cooper (one),
Crystian Thurton (nine), Kirstan
Kallicharan (12), Sachin Seecharan (11)
and Adrian Paharry (one) all fell cheaply.
Zawandi Whyte was the best bowler
for the Leeward Islands snatching 3/47
in eight overs. Earlier, McDavid grabbed
2/48 in ten overs to help dismiss the
Leewards for 207 in 49.4 overs.
Kallicharan took 2/29 in his ten, while
Jerrilous Louis (65) and Michael Lewis
(53) were the top scorers for the Lee-
