Tender for Remodeling of the Tea Terraces at Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre
Evolving TecKnologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited ("e TecK") hereby invites the
submission of Tenders from eligible bidders for the Remodeling of the Tea Terraces at the Hilton
Trinidad and Conference Centre, Lady Young Road, Port of Spain.
The delivery period will be fourteen (14) calendar weeks.
Bidding will be conducted through the Two Envelope Competitive Bidding process in accordance with
e TecK's procurement guidelines, and is open to all suitably quali ed bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the prequali cation and
tender documents at the o ce of The Secretary, Tenders Committee at the following address:

From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, but no later than Thursday 16th July, 2015, at 4:00 p.m.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-
refundable fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (TTD1,500.00). The method of payment
will be cash or certi ed cheque. Only bidders who have purchased the bid documents will be eligible to
A mandatory site visit has been scheduled for Friday 17th July, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Lobby Entrance,
Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre, Port-of-Spain . Failure to attend the site visit will render the
prospective bidder ineligible to submit a Tender.
Bids must be deposited into the marked Tender Box at the address above by Tuesday 4th August, 2015
at 2:00 p.m. Late Bids will be rejected. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Fifty
Thousand Dollars (TTD50,000.00) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address
above on Tuesday 4th August, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
The Site of the Works is the Tea Terraces at Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre, Lady Yound Road,
Tenders must be submitted strictly in accordance with the Tender Documents. e TecK does not bind
itself to accept the lowest or any Tender and reserves the right to negotiate price with any Tenderer.

Forward Gerenio Romerio connected on eight
three-pointers to tally 28 points, but his effort was

petition in the First Division of the Eastern Com-
munity Basketball League played on Sunday at the
Maloney Indoor Sports Complex.
The league is operated by the East Zone Basketball
Commission of the National Basketball Federation
of Trinidad and Tobago.
Romerio drained five of his three-pointers in the
first half and got valuable support from Joel Hamilton,
who netted 21 and Otto Lewis 14. For the winners,
who tallied the contest 38-41 at the interval, Anderson
Joseph helped himself to 24 points, Ryan Spencer
added 16 and the veteran Ed Bernard displayed some
old sparks with a useful 14 points that kept Old
School in the hunt for a place in the Big-Four semi-

the first half 22-31, only Stefan Phillip reached double
figures with 12 points.
In the Under-17 division, Stories of Success (SOS)
turned back a game Youth Training Center (YTC)
77-52 in an exciting match of developing skills. Joel
Timothy scored 14 of his team-high 23 points, while
Charles Williams and Shannon Harris added 16 and
ten, which helped guided SOS to victory.
For YTC Ellis Alleyne led all scorers with a game-
best 28 and Shaquille Mendez helped with ten.
