Home' Trinidad and Tobago Guardian : January 18th 2016 Contents Following news of his
arrest, Rishi Kapoor
tweeted a photo of
Gurmeet Ram Rahim
from his movie MSG:
Messenger of God with
the caption: "See this
picture! I would like to
play this rockstar in a film.
Let me see who puts me
behind bars? Go Kiku Sharda!"
Should he really tempt
them? From previous social
media exchanges, we can tell
you that Mr Kapoor is no stranger to controversy,
and says pretty much anything he feels. Guess
when you re past a certain age, you get that pass---
who s gonna come for someone s granny/grandpa.
I mean, if you do, you d look pathetic lol.
Indian Express reported on Thursday that Kiku
apologised via Twitter, but maybe he deleted it,
since we didn t see that tweet.
Check out the offending clip online, and let us know
via @GuardianTT if he deserved to be arrested.
Until next time!

DANA LA VOIX
Anyone would feel good if an industry vet-
eran stood up for us in a crisis, right?
That s what Rishi Kapoor did recently for
comedian Kiku Sharma. The veteran actor
seemed to tweet in support of Kiku who was
booked and arrested (twice!) for mocking spir-
itual leader and actor Gurmeet Ram Rahim
The comedian did an imitation of Singh on
the show Comedy Nights With Kapil and was
met with outrage by the guru s followers. As a
result, he was arrested last Wednesday and
flown to Haryana in Northern India to be ques-
tioned. He was then released on bail.
About the situation, Bollywood Life wrote:
"So now a Godman can promote his deeds by
doing a commercial film and have self praise
songs to his credit but a comedian cannot do
his job by mimicking the same? Wow! We re
Imagine that. Guess we don t know how good
we have it.
