Currently, Defence Force leads the table with

placed Stokely Vale in its final match on Sunday
while Guaya United is second with 59 points and
two matches to play, including a final round meet-
ing with La Horquetta S.A on Sunday.
However, for Guaya to have any chance of claim-
ing the title on Sunday, it must take all three points
today, or Defence Force will claim the crown ahead
Should Guaya win today, it will cut Defence
Force lead to a point ahead of the final round of
matches where both teams will face less fancied
At the other end of the table, Stokely Vale is
certain of relegation with 17 points from 26 match-
es, and will be joined by either two other clubs
from Real Maracas (21), La Horquetta S.A (23),
Guaya hopes to stay alive

TODAY'S CNG SUPER LEAGUE
PREMIER DIVISION MATCHES
The Trincity Cricket League will hold an
important meeting with all participating clubs
at the Tacarigua Community Centre, Bally
Street, off Thavenot Street, Tacarigua tomorrow
Clubs must send two representatives to the
meeting. Clubs that have not applied as yet are
to do so immediately. Fixtures will be given for
the 20-overs and 30-overs competitions. The 20
overs competition will be played on Wednesdays
and Thursdays. Action starts on Wednesday while
other will be played on Saturdays and Sunday.
That contest begins February 27.
