Home' Trinidad and Tobago Guardian : August 16th 2016 Contents "I am from Jamaica and I follow the
Olympics but I follow up on Jamaican
athletes. Based on what I saw I
think it is not a matter of not
trying. It is the programmes in T&T.
It is not strong enough. The athletic
programmes in Jamaica is strong
from primary and prep champs.
There is no comparison. There are
competitions for six-year-olds."

as foreign terrorist fighters. It was stated that the nine
will be deported back to T&T. They are at Turkey s
Adana detention centre.
The T&T Guardian received information the group

He also confirmed he was working out
arrangements to meet for talks with members
of the Muslim community. That should be with-
in the next couple weeks, he added.
Following a call by a T&T-born Isis fighter,
Abu S ad at-Trinidadi (reportedly Shane Craw-

After designating convicted JFK bomb plotter
Kareem Ibrahim and Isis as terrorist entities
under the anti-terrorism law the AG s office
on July 25 applied to the court for similar dec-

He said the list involved four batches com-

T&T does not yet figure on the UN Security

"I have been following it but maybe they
didn't get enough time to prepare. There
is a lot of competition out there and now

take them seriously and is only
when they reach, we support
them. We only get support
when they perform."

"They were severely unrepresented.
The Government can do more
financial-wise. The Government don't
take that as seriously as it should. The
