Home' Trinidad and Tobago Guardian : October 12th 2016 Contents Afamily of an accident victim, who
were on their way to place
flowers at the site where the woman
was killed, stumbled on the
decomposing body of another woman
who was apparently stabbed to death.
People have become too intolerant
and aggressive. They don’t just cuss
anymore, when they are vex, they are
now into killing.
I feel so disgusted to turn on the
television and only seeing murder.
Even on Facebook—what you don’t see
on the news it’s there on Facebook. As
I said, the devil came on vacation and
decided to stay in Trinidad. People just
losing their lives.
It seems to me this is well accepted
in Trinidad, murders are pushed under
the carpet, government stays quiet—
it’s just another day.
Someone is murdered and some
think that it is a good idea to politicise
this tragedy with outahtiming
comments. Then we wonder why the
country is in a mess!
Vision of death
Pastor Liesha Kerr-Bernard, sister of
Roosevelt “Bassy” Kerr, 50, of
L’Anse Fourmi, Tobago, who died from
injuries he sustained when a Public
Transport Service Corporation bus ran
off the road yesterday, said she got a
“word” from God less than 24 hours
before his death.
Visions of death are very real, can’t
explain it but I don’t doubt that.
Anyway you see us Tobagonians (I
included), we tend to accept whatever
is given to us on our plates, there’s
never an argument nor any demanding
of equality. That’s the main culprit
behind this accident Monday. And
those who are in charge know that
we’re a “yes sir and yes ma’am” type of
people, thus creating a slavery
mentality. I’m a strong believer that
everything is a process, nothing occurs
now for now (immediately). It’s just a
pity that he has to become a victim to
the process and to that I say accept
my condolences. But I’m pissed of at
the entire situation. We are too laid
bach here, and if we don’t get up and
get, we’ll be deeply embedded in our

Its so very unfortunate that this

This is so unfortunate. The level that
crime has reached in our sweet T&T!
It’s atrocious and alarming.

young man who had every thing to live
for someone took it away. My

What are your chances of being
shot, murdered, kidnapped, raped,
robbed, maimed, killed and your body
parts strewn all over Trinidad? Or sold
by human traffickers? What is going in
