Four-year-old Jenice Figaro,
who reportedly died after eating
a meal of fries, was in fact beaten
to death, an autopsy found yes-
The autopsy, performed by foren-
sic pathologist Dr Eslyn Burris Mc
Donald at the Forensic Science Cen-
tre, St James, found her death was
due to blunt force trauma.
Déñèllë Rèánñâ: In the past he
saw a "burst lip and fractured wrist
and a burn on her tummy" and he
never questioned that and had that
person around his child??????????
He failed as a father. He still in de-
That baby was suffering a long
time now. RIP baby girl.
Helen Kelshall: No protection
Debbie Augustine: Please tell
me where was the Child Protection
Agency.?!! ie she previously had a
bust lip, fractured wrist and a burn
on her tummy....my heart bleeds.
She should have been removed from
that environment instantly!
Junior Wickham: These are the
stories that gets me upset. What a
child could do to you? Are people so
heartless that they are so emotion-
less, really? I pray to God that this
innocent . . . child that her killer or
killers are caught. Lord you promise
to protect and defend the innocents,
let this news not just be anoth-
er headlines. Judgement on those
Andrew James: From kind and
loving people we've become over
sexed and violent maybe to a point
of no return.
Kimberly Prime: Who ever do
this to this poor baby I hope they get
what coming to them may the Lord
have mercy on their soul.
Kurls Churaman: These people
are heartless and obviously don't
believe or don't care about karma.
Peaceful transition baby girl.
Fifiempress Elder: Lord put a
hand this little innocent child they
will have to answer to God!
Mark John: This is so sad, and
I'm so stomped. The authorities that
be needs to start holding the police
and the child protective services
accountable for not doing enough
to stop these continuous abuse to
children. The police was informed
of the abuse, and look at what the
end result is now. They should all be
ashamed of themselves for not do-
ing enough to prevent the murder of
this child, and the government body
in general should implement more
stringent laws to send a strong mes-
sage to these would be abusers, that
this behavior has to stop or pay the
ultimate consequences, because it's
almost a norm to beat and torture
little children to death in T&T now.
Ministry worried over school
brutality at El Do Secondary
The Ministry of Education says it
is very concerned about the brutal-
ity that was displayed in last week's
viral video in which a group of fe-
male students of the El Dorado West
Secondary School were seen beating
a lone female student attending the
Speaking on the issue yesterday
during a scholarship seminar at the
University of T&T, Arima Minister
of State in the Ministry of Educa-
tion, Dr Lovell Francis, said while
the school had since introduced
"corrective measures" in the matter,
the ministry wanted to ensure this
type of incident did not recur.
Concern and talking to them mean
nothing. What are you going to DO
Juju Dee They now concerned?
Since I in secondary school (many
years ago) children behaving like
that. You think it have so much vio-
lence and certain types of crime that
is prevalent with some groups? And
more than half of the time the par-
ents violent the same way.
Tamika Rhobi Boucher: I
think all schools should be looked
at. These children have no respect
whatsoever cause it is now believed
that you can't do them anything
and what's hard people with calm
children are victims of them. Chil-
dren who have no decorum and
their parents are always no shows to
Prince Farai: School violence is
like a pastime.
Mahadeo Sookoo: What a state
we have reached. But we all know
what will happen. Nothing just talk
talk talk. Both parents and children
should be held accountable.
Mandy Dubarry- Friday: The
Ministry of Education was con-
cerned. I am a parent and I am out-
raged!!! See the difference here?
ShezZie Razac Don't just be con-
cerned...penalise those beasts !!!!
Stanley Ryan If the Ministry
of Education is serious, they (the
abusers) MUST be expelled from the
School and the Police MUST also
take the appropriate action as well!
The safety of the abused child is
paramount! They (the abusers) must
NOT be allowed to return to the
School! If they are allowed to return,
the Ministry of Education/Minister
MUST be held responsible for any
and all further violence by those
students at the School!
