IN FOWL COOP
Cackling hens after midnight gave
away the hiding spot of a prisoner on
the run in Sangre Grande yesterday.
George McPherson: He run
afowl of the law!
Don Antonio: That unsurprising
moment when a fowl does better
work than a police officer.
Arvin J. O. Isaac: Guess he
chickened out when he saw the cops.
Gemma Charles: They need to
hire hunters and chickens to work at
TTPS, they seem to be doing a much
better job than the actual officers.
Leba Maria Benjamin: Hats off
to the hens!
Lillian Ackool: Chicken doing a
better job than the police.
Frauke Lühning: He tried to
chicken out! But thanks to the
FEMALE officer who had some
common sense and was looking fur-
ther than her nose, he was found!
Her male colleagues just went to
search the house and came up emp-
ty-handed. Women are smarter and
observe more. Maybe TTPS should
employ more women!
Azroon Hosein-Ali: Thank you
fowls, you better than the police.
Geeta Trinidad: Great news,
thanks to the chickens one caught,
5000 more on the run.
Mahendra Dhoni Buchoon:
Hire the hens! Well the officers did
Ragna Lothbrook: The police
probably was looking for a fowl to
cook and that is how they find him.
Central Division police are send-
ing a warning to home owners to be
careful of "missionaries" coming
to their homes, as it is believed to
be the latest trend in which an uni-
dentified chemical is being used by
bandits to knock out victims before
Dexter Ramanoop: Bandits
coming up with new ideas... why
don't they come up with something
to make the country good.
Roger Alexander: The bandits
coming up with new ideas but the
police eh have no idea at all.
David Sammy Jr.: These bandits
are becoming very crafty when it
comes to their sinister plans to rob
and to hurt you. How can they use
the Holy Bible to perpetrate their
evil? I hope that they realise that
they are going to pay for their sins.
God don't like ugly you evil-doers.
Michael Anderson-Harding: To
use God's word so is ridiculous. God,
we know dis world needs help.
Barry Telesford: Umm, but we
fraid those road preacher visitors for
years now. Everyone does pretend
not to be home.
Don Harrylal: The advice the
PM should give this woman is "I am
not in your driveway, I am not inside
your house, chooses wisely."
Triplets Niah, Aaliyah and Em-
ma-Lee Charles are now one-year-
old. The adorable infants were born

Slow water taxi
What was once a 50-minute trip
between San Fernando and Port-of-
Spain is now 90 minutes for passen-
gers using the Water Taxi Service.
Iknat Ballsingh: Slow or fast, we
Anil Nanan: Just like the slow
"fast" ferries from 2 1/2 hours to 4
Aleem Ali: Speed guns on the

the administration would allow the

Kenton Christopher Gonza-
les: Incompetent people in high
positions responsible for providing
effective services to the public. This
is the result...
Kaisha Alisha Phillips: This ser-
vice was once impeccable. Nothing
good really lasts out here yes.
Selwyn Robert Ellis: Fire the
whole board, if they cant manage the
port, it is embarrassing for the coun-
try and the people.
Maggie Da-Patriot Willow: I
also recall when the fast ferry was 2.5
hours 3 max. Now it's 4-5 hours.
Judith Chase: Ferry rides are a
Raymond James None of these
public modes of transport are eco-
nomically viable in there present
form. Once government is not gen-
erating enough revenues to support
there operations of course they
would become unreliable.
Micah Immanuel James: Poor or
no maintenance....what you expect.
Tola Ali:This service is gradually
deteriorating, it now takes an hour
and a half to reach PoS, and an hour
and a half to go back... On another
note, why don't they sell tickets a
week in advance, commuters have to
be rushing and standing in long lines
just to purchase a ticket. Simply poor
Chris Andretti: Seriously?! Trin-
idad is so ridiculous. What is the
reason for that? Too much traffic?!
