Home' Trinidad and Tobago Guardian : March 8th 2017 Contents With shouts of "Leave we Joy
alone!" students of the Ste
Madeleine Secondary school
yesterday hurled bottles of juice, water
and soft drink at teachers protesting for
the removal of their principal.
Theresa Conliffe The children
have something to say but they went
about it the wrong way; if they don't
want their principal to leave they
could've counter protested calmly.
David Sammy Jr. Students are
too unruly these days, they do not
have any respect for authority. This
is where the breeding of "monsters"
starts. If this is their behaviour now
one can only imagine what it will be
like in the not too distant future.
Karlene Sonders I wonder how

harmony between teachers principal,
parents and children. This is the re-
sult (when it's not there.)
Teri Grice I love how we put the
onus on the young minds that are fed
what the adults in society do---the
same and worse...These children are
led, young minds are moulded and
they will do what they have been told
or ask to do. Who incited them? Stop
labeling our young with negative
comments. Instead, look at the source
of this rage and anger, guarantee that
an adult is somewhere behind this be-
haviour. Children are who we mould
them to be. We as a collective society.

Novana Forde Who trained these

PM: Govt looking at
Government is working on "oth-
er developments" regarding
workers of the Methanol Holdings
Trinidad Ltd (MHTL) if it comes to
a point when the company cannot
carry workers, as it appears, Prime
Minister Dr Keith Rowley said yes-
terday. He said hopefully that "devel-
opment" will bear fruit.
Stop Crime In T&T no gas plan,
no crime plan. The two are critically
linked. It's gonna get worse ppl. Much
worse. Stupid question---we investing

negotiating for a gas supply agree-
ment? These companies would have
tax concessions on start up and after
the agreed period new contracts are
to be signed, so more revenue can
made for the people and the govern-
ment going forward. Why they have
no signed agreement currently? Is
that companies playing hard ball to
get cheap gas or pay no new price, and
government not negotiating prop-
erly? Or is it a true gas shortage that
is the cause of these plants having to
close their doors.
