Paul paces St James
Sec to rugby crown

as a player to watch for the future as
St James Secondary School held off
Bishop Anstey's High School (BAHS)
'B' 15-5 in their School Girls Rugby
League of T&T (SGRLTT) at the
Queen's Park Savannah, Port-of-
Spain on Wednesday.

the St James Secondary young women
were eager for a quick start and did just
that when Paul, who has been a thorn
in opposing teams all season long ran in

Biche stops Cushe in T20 Super-Over
BICHE scored an exciting su-
per-over T20 victory over Cushe
when action resumed at various
venues in the South East Zone com-
petition.And there was also a massive
victory by 94 runs by Killdeer over
Tristar in another Group "A" clash.
After the allotted 20 overs Cush and
Biche both ended their innings on 132 runs,
requiring a shoot-out finish to determine
However, Cushe struggled to score seven
runs off their six balls while Biche cantered
to the well-deserved win, slamming ten
runs in their super-over.
In the other match of the group, Kill-
deer went on an entertaining run-spree
accumulating 214 runs in their 20 overs
which proved a mountain too high to climb
for Tristar, who were bowled out for just
120 in reply.
In another high-scoring encounter,
this time in Group "C"
, Sancho/St Julien
piled up 220 for six wickets against New
Grant, who made a game challenge but fell
short by 48 runs after being restricted to
172 for eight.
There was also play in the 40-Overs
competition with Cedar Hill crushing St
Julien by 168 runs in Group "C". Cedar Hill
notched up 254 for six and in reply St Julien
were bundled out for 138.
And in Group "D"
, Tableland had a 15-
run nail-biting victory over Forest Reserve
after scoring a fighting 136 for three wick-
ets, but still managed to successfully de-
fend that small score by dismissing their
opponents out for 121.
