TENDERS ARE INVITED FROM REGISTERED CONTRACTORS WITH THE PORT OF SPAIN CORPORATION
FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS 2017 FOR THE UNDERMENTIONED PROJECTS:-
a. Construction of a Slipper Drain at Basilon Street
b. Construction of a Slipper Drain a Upper Quevado Circular
c. Construction of a Box Drain at Rudolph Charles Link Road
d. Construction of a Box Drain at Pioneer Drive
e. Construction of a Box Drain at Production Avenue
f. Construction of a Box Drain at Queen's Park West (Phase III)
g. Construction of a Box Drain at Ellerslie Park
h. Construction of a Box Drain at Grey Street/St. Clair Avenue
i. Construction of a Box Drain at Cornelio Street
j. Construction of a Box Drain at South Quay (Henry St. to Broadway)

Tender documents can be obtained during normal working hours from the Tenders Clerk, City Administration Department,
First Floor, Port of Spain Corporation, 2-4 Knox Street, Tel: 299-0870 ext. 2210. Tenderers are required to pay the Corporation
a tender deposit of Three hundred dollars (TT$300.00) for each package. Payment can be made at the Cashiers Unit, 1st Floor,
City Hall, 2-4 Knox Street, Port of Spain during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Any further technical information can be obtained during the normal hours from Mr. Jason Lalla, City Engineer, City Engineer's
Department, Port of Spain Corporation, Tel: 299-0870 Ext. 2700 or 2701. Tenderers may make their bid on one or more of the
projects. Tenderer or his representative is invited to a pre-tender meeting on Monday August 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at the City
Engineer’s Offce, Port of Spain Corporation, 2-4 Knox Street, Port of Spain. The pre-tender will be followed by a site visit.
Tenders must be accompanied by:-
1. Valid Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certifcate issued by the Board of Inland Revenue and dated not more
than six (6) months prior to the closing of the Tender.
2. Valid certifcate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act
The Original and one copy of the tender must be placed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Chief Executive Offcer, Port of
Spain Corporation, 2-4 Knox Street, Port of Spain and clearly marked on the outside.

Envelopes must be deposited in the Tender Box located on the 1st Floor, City Administration Department, Port of Spain, 2-4
Knox Street, Port of Spain and not later than Friday August 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
Late Tenders will not be considered under any circumstances.
The Corporation does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to cancel the bidding process in its
entirety or partially, without defraying any cost incurred by any frm submitting their tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been
made by JEAN THEROULDE to have the parcel of
land described in the Schedule hereunder brought
under the provisions of the Real Property Act Chap-
ter 56:02 and the Judge of the High Court dealing
with the said application has ordered that notice of
the said application be once per week for four (4)
consecutive weeks in at least two (2) daily newspa-
per of general circulation in Trinidad and Tobago and
if no caveat is lodged within three months of the date
may ring the subject parcel of land under the provi-
sions of the Real Property Act.

Cycling Championships pedals off
at the National Cycling Centre, Bal-
main, Couva from today until Sun-
day August 14.
The five-day event will be of utmost impor-
tance to all competitors involved as they seek
selection to the national team for the upcoming
Elite Pan American Track Championships at the
end of this month at the same venue.
Two-time Olympian, Phillip will be seeking
selection in the Sprint events such as the Sprint,
Keirin and Team Sprint.
Phillip will not have an automatic spot onto the
national team and neither will his fierce com-
petition provide an easy path with former Pan
American champion Quincy Alexander's (Team
DPS) coming off a win in the Easter Grand Prix
Keirin and a nippy 10.277 second Flying 200m
The likes of ninth world ranked Keirin cyclist,
Kwesi Browne (AWCC) will also be looking to
stamp his authority on the Sprint events
