ANAND RAMLOGAN ARRESTED
Former attorney general
Anand Ramlogan has been
arrested. At about 6 am yester-
day, officers led by acting Dep-
uty Police Commissioner Har-
old Phillip went to Ramlogan's
Palmiste Park home where they
informed him he was under
arrest for two offences. The
offences are (i) misbehaviour in
public office and (ii) perverting
the course of justice.
Andrew James So what?
Nothing would come out of this
like the others.
Martin Singh Interesting
timing. Great distraction for all
the PNM's blunders.
Victor Phillip The others
must be passing gas and staying
near the toilet.
Nara Adhama Attempt to
sidetrack the nation from real
issues of the day.
Samuel Taylor With these
comments it is clear that we do
not fully care about tackling
corruption. We only care about
Nerissa Dqueen Let the chips
fall where they may!
Martin Riggs Hmmmm...
Steuppssssss..... just politics.
Ryan Steinberg Jr If he is
arrested for a crime its OK be-
cause no one should be above the
law. If he is arrested for public
humiliation or headlines in the
newspapers then this is another
ploy to throw the public off this
Elliott Washington Huh,

(THA) Minority Leader and
Public Services Association
(PSA) president Watson Duke
yesterday described his swim
protest from Tobago to Trini-
dad a resounding success.
Chanka Ramkhalawan He
will be remembered just like the
late Uriah Buzz Butler.
Devika Balkaran Good Mr
Duke, I know you could have
done it, u are fighting not for To-
bago but for Trinidad too.
Laurence Tenia Now he can
work with the PNM to have that
port in Toco built seeing how
close it is from Tobago.
Slave swam to Toco
long before Duke
Tobago House of Assembly
(THA) Minority Leader
Watson Duke proved his point
yesterday by swimming part
of the journey from Tobago
to Trinidad to protest the
unreliable inter-island ferry
ry books record a rebellious
slave by the name of Sandy
made the treacherous journey
Mobarack Mohammed Did
Simmy Lall Ok, well done ...

...n maybe for popularity, but I
ain't see anyone else doing it.
Kwasi Thomas Did Duke

Lou Sandy Duke better than
all all our present leaders....ac-
tion not ole talk and gallery.
Joe Paul Duke did not swim to
Toco, he hitched a ride. Boy what
Ras Lanuf Our black people
were so strong and determined.
It seem as though the generation
today never learned their history.
Veronica Serieaux It may be
a possibility to build a terminal
in Toco and start just a passenger
water taxi service to Tobago. Lat-
er on extend it to San Fernando
etc. That service will probably
work out much faster without
delay as on the road. The Govern-
ment should concentrate on es-
tablishing water taxi services Just
a thought. God Bless our Nation.
Kyron Phillips Who could do
it better ... try nuh!

Wish I knew the logic behind it.
Try shifting the vendors perhaps
it would make a difference.

Let's see how long it will last be-
fore it starts to rust away! Rape of
