Cop sues State after fall
Months after Police Constable Judson Moham-
med won a lawsuit against the State for negligence
after he was slashed by a prisoner, the of icer has

This time Mohammed is claiming that through
the negligence of the State he tripped on an elec-
trical cord hanging from a police vehicle and fell
and injured his knee. He has already undergone
two surgeries and has been diagnosed with 35 per

he may have to undergo a third surgery.
In April, the State was ordered to pay Moham-
med more than $40,000 in damages after he was
injured by a prisoner in January 2011.
