Value of shares
The activity on the First Tier Market increased
significantly by 109.24 per cent this week
with a total of 1,183,578 shares crossing the
floor compared to 565,648 shares in the prior
week. The value of shares traded more than
tripled, up 217.95 per cent to $14,297,729.26
from the previous week's value of
$4,496,907.96. One Caribbean Media Limited
(OCM) was the volume leader capturing 33.82
per cent of the market with 400,290 shares
All three Indices ended the week in positive
territory. The Composite Index rose by 0.37
per cent or 4.61 points to close at 1,246.21.
The All Trinidad and Tobago Index increased
by 0.01 per cent or 0.18 points to end at
1,782.36 and the Cross Listed Index closed
at 95.42, up 1.32 per cent or 1.24 points. This
week there were 10 stocks advancing and 6
stocks declining. The major advance was NCB
Financial Group Limited (NCBFG), up 2.94 per
cent or $0.15 to close the week at $5.25 and
the major decline was Unilever Caribbean
Limited (UCL), down 6.77 per cent or $3.34 to
end at $46.01.
There was no activity on the Second Tier
Market this week.
On the TTD Mutual Fund Market 44,946
CLICO Investment Fund (CIF) units traded
with a value of $966,743.84. CIF's price
remains unchanged at $21.51.
FIXED INCOME SUMMARY
T&T: OMO maturities totaled $1,731 MM this
week compared to $247 MM last week.
US: The yield on 10-year notes closed the
week at 2.37% while yields on 2-year notes
ended the week at 1.51%.
n -- Readymix (West Indies) Limited - Change in Senior Officer
Readymix (West Indies) Limited ("Readymix") hereby advises that
Mr. Nigel Tozer has been appointed to the position of General Man-
ager of Readymix, effective as of October 4, 2017.
Mr. Tozer replaces Mr. Ricardo Garcia Viani -- TCL Group Strategic
Planning Manager, who has been appointed to act in the position
from August 17, 2017 to October 4, 2017 in addition to his substan-

The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE) received
notice from GKC advising that a senior officer sold 2,200 GKC
shares on September 25th, 2017.
n -- Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited - Supreme Court Ap-
proves Scheme of Arrangement--- 02.10.17
Scotia Investment Jamaica Limited ('the Company") hereby an-
nounces that the Supreme Court of Jamaica has approved and
sanctioned the Scheme of Arrangement pursuant to which stock
units in the Company (other than those held by Scotia Group
Jamaica Limited) will be cancelled in consideration for cash pay-
ments J$38.00 per stock unit (payable to stockholders in Jamaica
currency or, at their election, in United States currency but in
United States currency only in the case of stockholders whose
stock units are cross-listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Ex-
change). The Court Order was filed with the Registrar of Compa-
nies today and accordingly Scheme has become effective.
Payments will be dispatched to minority stockholders of the Com-
pany by October 3, 2017. Payments to stockholders whose stock
units are cross-listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange
and stockholders in Jamaica who have elected to receive payment
in United States currency will have their payments converted to
United States currency based on the weighted average selling rate
for US$ published by the Bank of Jamaica on September 28, 2017,
being three (3) Business days before the Payment Date. The rele-
vant conversion rate is US$1.00 = J$129.9901.
