The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago ("the Authority") invites sealed Bids from suitably qualified companies/firms which
are registered in Trinidad and Tobago for the:
"EXPANSION OF THE NORTH TERMINAL CAR PARK PIARCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT"
RFP documents may be perused at the Information Resource Centre, Administration Centre, South Terminal, Piarco International
Airport, Golden Grove Road, Piarco but can only be taken away upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00). Documents will be available from Tuesday 31st October 2017. A copy of this receipt must be submitted
with the Bid.
Prospective Bidders are invited to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting to acquaint themselves with conditions which may
influence their Bid. The Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Thursday 2nd November 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the
Conference Room, North Terminal, Piarco International Airport.
Bidders must submit one (1) original, two (2) hardcopies and one (1) PDF softcopy on a flash drive of the Bid, in sealed envelopes
identifying each Bid Package with label:
"Expansion of the North Terminal Car Park Piarco International Airport"
and addressed to
The envelopes must be deposited in the Tender Box located in the Lobby of the Airports Administration Centre no later than
2:00 p.m. on Friday 10th November 2017.
The Bids will be opened publicly shortly thereafter at 2:30 p.m. Bidders or representatives may be present at the opening.
Late Bids will not be considered in any circumstances. Bids submitted by means of facsimile or email shall not be considered.
The Authority will not defray any cost incurred by Bidders during the preparation and/or submission of their Bids.
The Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other Bid.

Four teams battle for MEFNA title
El Basan, Las Lomas and Mal-
vern and Asa Nets will battle
for supremacy in the Men's Fed-
eration of Netball Association
(MEFNA) one-day competition
at the Eastern Regional Indoor
Sports Arena in Tacarigua to-
morrow (Sunday). Action starts
at 12.30 pm and runs until 6 pm.
The four teams will compete
in two rounds in the round-robin
competition and each match will
be 30 minutes (15 minute-a-half )
MEFNA was founded in 1993
by national icon Lystra Lewis,
who is deceased. She achieved
international recognition for
administrative competence and
the promotion of netball beyond
national and regional bounda-

academy join forces
Spartans TT has signed a memo-
randum of understanding (MOU)
with Ubuntu Girls Basketball
Academy in the USA which is set
for a one year period to develop
and promote girls' basketball in
The MOU will provide coach-
ing dialogue as well as exchange
programmes that will see young
players from T&T experience
training and competition in the
USA, and will also allow players
from the USA to travel to T&T to
experience the culture and sport-
ing atmosphere of the Caribbean
region. The MOU is aimed at the
development of the girl's age
group between ive to 14 years,
exposing them to the best in class
training and training facilities. "

aimed to allowing all of our girls
in Trinidad and Tobago to have
access to these training sessions
and more importantly the oppor-
tunity to experience basketball in
the US. Now that this is signed we
have to ensure that we execute

Vettel grabs pole,
Hamilton starts third
MEXICO CITY Lewis Hamilton will have to chase his
fourth Formula One season championship from
behind Sebastian Vettel.
Blistering late laps by Sebastian Vettel and Max
Verstappen will have Ferrari and Red Bull starting
1 2 at the Mexican Grand Prix today. Hamilton is
set to start third. He leads Vettel in the season title
chase by 66 points and can win it if he inishes
ifth or better.
Vettel edged Verstappen by 0.086 seconds Sat-
urday for pole position.
Hamilton has said he'll push for a 10th win this
season even if he doesn't need it for the season
championship. He'll try to avoid any potential
crash at the start when Vettel and Verstappen
push for the irst turn.
In Singapore, Vettel veered across the track to
block Verstappen in a move that triggered a crash
that took out both cars. Hamilton avoided damage
