Teen was target
The investigation into Monday’s
incident in which 15-year-old
schoolboy Joshua Andrews and
“PH” driver Devon Fernandez
were killed and their bodies burnt
while trying to escape has made
a twist suggesting that Andrews
may have been the target.
Anton Pope Every time a cit-
izen of Trinidad and Tobago is
murdered that means that the
government has failed to do it’s
duty in this country.
Jason Joseph Lott How con-
venient. Stop trying to palm off
everything as “gang related”.
Lizzy Lizz Brown He’s 15
years... “But he was home by 10”
a 15-year-old has a 10 pm curfew?
And I’m glad the police is clearing
the air on the driver, cause after
listening to the interview with the
wife yesterday, didn’t seem like
he was involved in anything, I lit-
erally felt something was wrong
with the original story being

these children’s parents?

timent in a previous post, why

are into crime. And we have seen

Ministry tackles school
Meals from the School Feeding
Programme will be provided on
a needs basis, Education Minis-
ter Anthony Garcia announced
yesterday. He said this is an at-
tempt cut wastage as some $234
million is spent annually to pro-
vide breakfasts and lunches to
primary and secondary school
Ross Unus Feeding all chil-
dren keeps an equal platform for
learning, segregating the poor or
underprivileged is not a wise in-
vestment in the future of our na-
Envy Us Trinidad A lot of
wastage takes place so it’s nec-
essary. Kids eat half the lunch
and others that are on the lunch
list don’t take the lunch when its
food that they don’t like. Some
days hundreds of lunches re-
main untouched. So all the fool-
ish comments about taking away
food...is just that..foolishness.
Cutting back and giving to those
who need it would save a lot of
money. There are kids who come
with lunch and snacks every day;
lunch should be only for kids
whose parents can’t afford.
