Home' Trinidad and Tobago Guardian : April 13th 2018 Contents Thank you for the Legacy you have left behind, PRW
will continue for us to remember you by. Rest In Peace
Philip Richard Weston. Gone, but never forgotten.
The Best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.
Trinidad and Tobago has lost a true man of virtue. With sorrow in
our hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of Mr. Philip Richard
Weston. He was a loyal man to his family, friends, colleagues and his
business. His laugh and warm smile will always be one to remember.
Philip blessed the earth on January 6th, 1960 and passed away on
March 12, 2018. Philip’s generosity and loving kindness will always
be remembered. He was loved by all just as he loved everyone. His
peers mention that Philip was a man of class. He made the best of
the cards life dealt him and always refused to settle for less. Most
would argue as men find strength in their pride. Arguably Philip
is a man who found success in his weakness, as well as renewing
strength sort through devotion to his faith Philip was a role model
to society that will dearly miss him.
Philip was born in Trinidad and Tobago, his family is British but his
loyalty was for Trinidad and Tobago. His motto was eat little live
long. He always made security cameras, computers, laptops etc.
affordable, he rather make less to help his country and the people
thereof, because of PRW Philip Richard Weston, bought computers
and sold them so cheap that every home can have access to one
and educate their children, he helped mostly wholesale buyers with
credit so their company can thrive and become successful he was
loyal to his customers, but always helped them if they are in need.
He himself would go out of his way to serve people and deliver
stocks to customers’ homes. Once he worked on Christmas day to
ensure the laptops purchased as gifts was delivered. His love for his
friends was genuine and wore his heart on his sleeve, his word was
his bond, once he gave his word to Chris by saying I will give you
my red Benz and he really did it, Philip helped many from Laventille,
Beetham and Cocorite he also helped many single mothers, Philip
would give to his staff and treat them like family most of the staff of
PRW are the ones he started the company with.
At the age of 8 years old his dad died in a tragic car accident in
Trinidad, and he had to go back to England with his mother and
sister, but it was in his heart to return to Trinidad, he finally returned
at the age of 24 and said to Wayne a good friend; that he have to
come back to help his people, he married me an Indian woman and
have the two most beautiful children Kaleigh and Brittany Weston
who is the apple of his eyes and grandchild Saylor who he loved
so much, he gave persons jobs who was not technical and taught
them all he knows, he even taught me Shanti Weston all I know
today he would always say keep your word and don’t say something
and don’t do it, he went on to say don’t make excuses for your
failure get up and don’t procrastinate get the job done. He was the
love of my life, he cherished me and his children, I will never be able
to replace Philip, but I will never let Trinidad forget him either.
PRW Enterprises was started in 1992 to supply T&T with reasonable
stationary, substitute ribbons, toners, as well as many Computers
and electronics. Later on, he introduced Weston Global Electronics;
supplying top of line of security surveillance cameras and
equipment’s. As results, Philip aided Trinidad and Tobago with safer
homes and state of the art technologies to ensure a prosperous
future for the country he loves.
Mark Charles, a reputable employee of Mr. Philip, has seen the very
first stages of PRW Enterprises as they first started developing their
Employer to Employee relationship, as well as the company in 1992.
Mark best describes Philip as a Motivator, Visionary, a Problem
Solver, but most of all; A Passionate leader. Philip was a firm, fair and
loyal man, he was driven, charitable, astute business man .A true
friend who loved and lived life to the fullest.
