TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF VEHICLES TO THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
DEFENCE FORCE (DEFENCE FORCE RESERVES) MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY
Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of Vehicles to the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (Defence Force
Reserves) Ministry of National Security as follows:-
Item 1 - One (1) Long Wheel Base Vehicle
Item 2 - Three (3) only 7 Ton Troop Carriers (4x4)
Tender documents can be collected during normal working hours at the Central Tenders Board's Office, 116 Frederick
Street, Port of Spain. Telephone No. 625-4330, Fax No. 625-1809.
Any technical information can be obtained during normal working hours from Colonel Lyle Alexander, Trinidad and
Tobago Defence Force Reserves, Chaguaramas at Telephone Number 634-1931/1932.
Tenders must be accompanied by valid:
(i) Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificate issued by the Board of Inland Revenue and
dated not more than six (6) months prior to the closing date of the tender.
(ii) Certificate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act.
Sealed tenders in Duplicate on the approved Tender form will be received not later than 1.00 pm on Thursday May 16, 2013.
Envelopes must be addressed to the Chairman, Cental Tenders Board, 116 Frederick Street, Port of Spain and must be
deposited in the Brown Tenders Box located in the lobby of the Board's Office.
Envelopes must be clearly marked:-
"Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Vehicles to the Trinidad and Tobago
Defence Force (Defence Force Reserves) Ministry of National Security"
Tenders will be opened shortly thereafter. The tenderer or his representative may be present at the opening.
Tenderers should note that the dimensions of the slot of the Tenders Box are 37.5 cm x 5.5 cm and as such, tenders
should be packaged accordingly.
Late tenders will Not be considered in any circumstances.
The Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender.
The Central Tenders Board reserves the right to cancel the present notice in its entirety or partially, without defraying
any cost incurred by any firm in submitting their tender.

BRISBANE---George Bailey was named Aus-
tralia s vice-captain, replacing Shane Watson,
in the Champions Trophy one-day squad
Michael Clarke was named as captain of the
15-man squad for the tournament beginning
next month in England and Wales, with Watson
included as an allrounder after standing down
as deputy last month.
The only uncapped player added to the line-
up was medium-fast bowler Nathan Coulter-
Nile in place of the injured Ben Cutting, while
Mitchell Marsh, Adam Voges and James Faulkn-
er were also included at the expense of Steve
Smith, Aaron Finch and Moises Henriques.
Twenty20 captain Bailey provides Australia
not only an extra batting option, but the oppor-
tunity to groom Clarke's eventual successor
for the one-day side.
"The (National Selection Panel) has been
impressed with George's leadership when he
stepped in to guide the ODI team in Michael's
absence last summer and leadership of the
T20 team over the past two seasons," chief
selector John Inverarity said.
"Given George's experience and credentials,
he was viewed as the ideal person for the role."
Inverarity said Coulter-Nile has impressed
as both a fast-medium bowler and a lower-

Australian cricket and the energy he brings to
his game is impressive," he said.
"While Nathan has played a T20 interna-
tional for Australia, we are looking forward to
seeing him take his very good domestic lim-
ited-overs form onto the world stage."
Fast bowlers James Pattinson and Ryan Har-
ris will sit out the Champions Trophy, instead
preparing for the five-test series against Eng-
land by playing with the Australia A side which
is touring Britain at the same time.
Matthew Wade was chosen as wicketkeeper
ahead of Brad Haddin, who was last week
named test vice-captain for Australia's Ashes
Australia, which won the 2009 Champions
Trophy in South Africa, will open its 2013
campaign against England on June 8 at Edg-
baston. Joining Australia and England in Group
A for the tournament are New Zealand and
Bailey vice-captain of Aussie ODI squad
