A ministry official told the T&T
Guardian yesterday all eight educational
districts in Trinidad and Tobago have
said they were ready.
Peter Wilson, T&T Unified Teachers
Association (TTUTA) general secretary,
extended the association s best wishes
to the children, hoping the ministry
had all systems in place.
Noting that the exam is a high-stress
one, Wilson urged the pupils and par-

In March this year the association
referred to the ministry s implemen-

Gopeesingh added that all students

At the Susamachar Presbyterian

of their preparation.
National Primary Schools Prin-

ident Lynsley A Doodhai said all
systems were ready and reports he
received from his members ahead
of today s exam were favourable.
"As far as I can say, everything
is in order for the SEA. I expect
that the exam will be conducted
smoothly and there will be no hic-
cups. The exam is a little shorter
than the last one (in 2012) because
the creative-writing was done in
March, so it would be 40 minutes
shorter," he said.
