CARSON---Robbie Keane scored three
second-half hat-trick to help the Los
Angeles rally for a victory 4-2 over
Major League Soccer Real Salt Lake
Keane scored in the 56th, 67th and
86th minutes to help the Galaxy pull
four points behind Salt Lake and tighten
an eight-team battle for five Western
Conference playoff berths. The top
seven teams are separated by eight
points, with San Jose another three
Joao Plata gave Real Salt Lake a lead
in the 53rd minute.
Keane scored from a long pass by
Jimenez to equalise, then volleyed Los
Angeles ahead 11 minutes later.
Omar Gonzalez made it 3-1 with a

Kadlec from Sparta Prague.
The Bundesliga side says yesterday
the 21-year-old Kadlec has signed a four-
year deal with the club. Both clubs agreed
not to disclose the transfer fee.
Frankfurt sports director Bruno Hueb-
ner tells the team website that the deal
had been in place for "several weeks"
and "we re delighted to make everything
official today on Sunday. In Kadlec,
coach Armin Veh is getting the player
Kadlec joined Bohemians Prague as a
five-year-old, before switching to city
rival Sparta in 2008.
He went on to score 39 goals in 146
games for the side.
Kadlec has made two appearances for
the Czech national team.
