The Archbishop and the
Prime Minister, Ralph
Maraj plays a roguish
prime minister whose
very religious wife finds
great difficulty in hav-
ing her husband correct
his errant ways.
She is not enamoured
of the political life which
disturbs her with its chaos
and emptiness. She finds
order, safety and solace in
the church headed by her
childhood friend the arch-
bishop who decides to
enter the political fray by
speaking critically on
national issues and further
complicates her life. The
prime minister, on the
other hand is a natural
political animal, amoral
and irreligious, whose only
purpose is to destroy his
political enemies and keep
the power he now enjoys.
