The City of Grand Bazaar, the largest shopping complex in the Caribbean and an affiliate of
the ANSA McAL Group of Companies, is seeking qualified candidates for
the following vacancies:
The General Manager reports directly to the Executive Chairman and manages all facets of the
Grand Bazaar Shopping Plaza, providing a safe, clean and fully functional facility for shoppers
and tenants, while ensuring that the image of the Shopping Centre is of the highest standard.
The successful candidate must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, professional
qualifications in Facilities or Project Management or related proven training and experience.
Marketing experience will be considered an asset.
The Operations Supervisor reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the suc-
cessful oversight and execution of the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the entire facili-
ty. The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient scheduling and effective performance of
the Maintenance and Security Staff. The successful candidate should have strong organisa-
tional and problem-solving skills and at least 3 years experience in preventative maintenance.
He/she should be familiar with HACIP and be computer literate.
FOOD COURT SUPERVISOR
The Food Court Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Oasis Food
Court. He/she will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and for the
delivery of Quality Customer Service with the objective of exceeding customer expectations in
every respect. The successful candidate should have a sound background and at least 3 years
proven experience in the hospitality industry and must have good organisational and commu-

Where were you born, and where
did you grow up?
I was born in San Fernando, lived
there for ten years and have since lived
in the West.

I attended Cedar Grove Primary in
South, then Dunross in the West for
two years. Then it was on to Providence
and later Maple Leaf International
School, and then to the Savannah Col-
lege of Art and Design where I grad-
uated with cum laude honours and a
bachelor of fine arts degree.
Who was your hero growing up (fic-

Growing up my dad was my hero,
I always wanted to be just like him. His
favourite colour was blue, so my
favourite colour was obviously blue.
He always made me feel safe. I admired
him and always valued his opinions
