dered Kenneth Marshall, 48, on Sep-
tember 18, at Caratal Road, Gas-

Defence attorney Dexter Bailey,
in his bail application, said his
client had no previous convictions
or pending matters and was not
a flight risk.
Bailey said Ramdass co-operated
with the police, but his client com-
plained that he was threatened by
a member of the Fraud Squad to
give a statement.
Bailey also complained that a
Justice of Peace prevented him
from seeing Ramdass while he was
detained at the police station.
The magistrate made a note on
the court s record about the alle-
gations and advised Ramdass to
lodge a complaint with the Police
