list at the Blue Dolphin Swim-
ming Pool, St Mary s College
Ground, Serpentine Road, St
The three-day clinic which
splashed off yesterday and features
Bovell swimming friends and two
of his medal-winning peers from
Eastern Europe in Croatian Duje
Draganja and Serbian Milorad
Cavic begins from 10 am today
while Minister Roberts is expected
to visit the clinic from 11 am.
Minister Roberts also supported
Bovell last year and is likely to offer
some advice to the dozens of young
swimmers, who were selected for
the three-day clinics.
At the end of today s clinic,
Bovell as well as the visiting elite
swimmers Draganja and Cavic will
be available for interviews.

had the hot hand as she single-
handedly led University of T&T
(UTT) to a 36-13 blowout of the

Ventures Jr Indoor hockey flicks off
First Citizens Bank is the main
sponsor in the first junior invita-
tional indoor tournament hosted
by Ventures Hockey Club.
The tournament flicks off today
at the Woodbrook Youth Facility,
Hamilton Holder Street, Wood-
brook from 9 am.
Competition will be played in
Boys and Girls Under-18 and Men
and Women Under-23 Divisions.
Paragon willl be looking to make
a clean swwp of the tournament
as they are the only club contesting
all four divisions.
They face the hosts in the
Women s Under-23 Division.
However, they will have stiff
competition from Fatima, Notre
Dame and Queen s Park in the
Under-23 Men s group; Shape,
Notre Dame and Fatima in the
Under-18 men s division and Har-
vard Maritime Checkers, Shooting
Stars and the hosts Ventures in the
Girls Under-18 group.
The tournament ends tomorrow.
