THE LAND ACQUISITION ACT, CHAP. 58:01
MADE BY THE PRESIDENT UNDER SECTION 4(1) OF THE
LAND ACQUISITION ACT
1. This Order may be cited as the Land Acquisition
(Possession of Land Prior to Formal Vesting in the State)
(No. 56) Order, 2013.
2. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and
Infrastructure is authorised to take possession of the
parcel of land comprising 1,271 square metres more or
less, situate at Bridge B 1/9, Old Talparo Road, in the Ward
of San Rafael, in the County of St. George and said to
belong now or formerly to the Estate of Jean Sookoo and
described in the Notification in the Trinidad and Tobago
Gazette, Legal Supplement Part B, Volume 52, No. 37,
dated 18th March, 2013, as Legal Notice No. 48 of 2013,
before the formal vesting of the land in the State, and to
apply it to the purpose for which it is intended to be put

Surveys, 118, Frederick Street, Port-of-Spain.

it comfortably beat Chievo Verona 2-0.
Livorno moved level on points with Sassuolo after
new coach Alberto Malesani s debut ended in defeat
against his former club.
Verona broke the deadlock five minutes into the
second half when Tomas Manfredini turned Emil

PARIS---Lille extended its slump by losing 1-0 at
Nice in the French league yesterday, its fifth straight
game without a win.
Nice defender Mathieu Bodmer diverted in Christian

halftime to give the hosts the win.
Despite the defeat, Lille remained in third place
but saw its lead over Saint-Etienne cut to one point
after picking up just two draws and three losses from
its last five league games.

Paris Saint-Germain extended its lead atop the
league to five points by defeating Bordeaux 2-0 on
Friday. On Saturday, it was: Lorient 2, Monaco 2;
Bastia 3, Guingamp 2; Evian 1, Ajaccio 1; Reims 2,
Montpellier 4; Saint-Etienne 3, Valenciennes 0; and
Sochaux 1, Nantes 0.

It took six minutes for the capital side to take the
lead against lowly Chievo as Antonio Candreva fired
in Keita Balde s cross.
The 18-year-old Balde capped an impressive per-
formance by scoring Lazio s second, when his effort
was deflected into the near corner.
