TREASURY & TRADE SOLUTIONS COUNTRY HEAD

Manage the Treasury & Trade Solutions Unit for the Trinidad Hub, which comprises Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas and Barbados.
Design a coordinated strategic plan to lead the Treasury & Trade Solutions team to achieve its revenue generation goals while
increasing wallet share, cross-sell and new business opportunities from a portfolio of Corporate clients.
Combine sales, product, implementation, and customer service responsibilities, while leading a team of people to achieve an aligned set
of business goals.
Work with Treasury & Trade Solutions Product Sales Consultants and the Global Subsidiaries Group to build and maintain a strong Cash
Management and Trade pipeline.
Review account plans with Product Sales Consultants and Relationship Managers to identify and drive focused sales opportunities
meeting the Cash Management and Trade revenue plan.
Convert pipeline into actual sales revenue through best-in-class customized solutions and an effective lead of client sales closing
Coordinate Product Management's focused disciplines with the respective Cluster Heads for Cash Management and Trade.
Manage customer service requirements through Centers of Excellence (Colombia, Tampa and Florida), and ensure that all implementation
activities are reported directly to the Treasury and Trade Solutions Country Head.
Responsible for managing the un-branched territories of Antigua, Anguilla, Belize, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana,
Suriname, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Maarten, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao,
Montserrat, and British Virgin Islands.
Responsible for managing controls and risks associated with the business, ensuring full compliance with both corporate policy and
Develop and deliver complex global solutions with US-based multinational corporations across all industry sectors as well as non-gov
ernmental organizations and financial institutions.
Develop and execute the Treasury & Trade Solutions Business Management & Financial Plan to achieve business management and
Develop and execute a formal Treasury & Trade Solutions Business Process flow to achieve effective work flow (product, sales,
implementation, and service).
Build and maintain a team capable of achieving the business objectives with "shared responsibilities" criteria to ensure that the Bank has
the right people in the right positions in order to achieve our goals.
To grow and develop the Customer Franchise by increasing market presence through innovative marketing in branched and un-branched
Establish strong Risk Control environment by implementing of management systems and controls such as documentation and customer
Managing the responsibilities associated with executing various projects including systems migration as well as the management of financial
and operational risks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Applicant must have a minimum of:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in Business or a related discipline.
A minimum of eight (8) years' experience and skill set developed through a thorough understanding of all aspects of Global Cash
Management, Trade Services, Trade Finance and Structured Trade Products together with their underlying technology and operational
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Treasury & Trade Solutions, Operations, Information Technology, and Customer Service
Global Market and Industry awareness with business administration and/or macro-economic background: (Analytical, Numerical,
Comfortable presenting to customers' senior management).
Proven track record in Sales Leadership and attainment of target.
Worked extensively with diverse clients and cultures in Latin America
Ability to work independently, ability to multi-task and drive multiple assignments to completion
Excellent communication skills required to influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions and geography)
Strong trouble shooting/problem solving skills
Bilingual -- fluent in English and Spanish

In both cases, however,
when the women asked
for maternity leave so as
to look after their babies,
their employers turned
them down on the
grounds that neither had
gone through a pregnancy
or adopted their children.
Reviewing the cases
against EU legislation on
conditions for working
mothers, fair treatment
and physical handicap,
the court said it could
find no grounds to say
that such a refusal of
maternity leave breached

Japan s Toshiba on Tuesday
unveiled a breathalyser which it
says can detect a wide range of dis-
eases just 30 seconds after users
blow into the machine.
The device, about the size of a
small dishwasher, has a nozzle in
which users blow several times.
It then analyses the puffs for traces
of several gases which can signal the
presence of several health problems
including diabetes, stomach ailments
and even the ordinary hangover.
"A breath exhaled into the
machine is irradiated with an infrared
laser, and then trace gases are detect-
ed" the company said in a state-
The gases include acetaldehyde,
methane and acetone, all of which
can point to the presence of various
Toshiba said it would expand the
number of gases---and diseases---
that its machine can detect, with an
eye to starting commercial produc-
tion next year.
The health care segment is a key
unit for Toshiba, which is best known
