Tender for the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of a 3-Cable High Tension Barrier System at various locations
of the Uriah Butler Highway and the Solomon Hochoy Highway for the Traffic Management Branch,
Highways Division, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure
Tenders are Invited for the supply, delivery, and installation of a 3-cable High Tension Barrier System at the various loca-
tions of the Uriah Butler Highway and the Solomon Hochoy Highway for the Traffic Management Branch, Highways Division,
Ministry of Works and Infrastructure as follows:
Project 1: Three (3km) kilometres on the median of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, South of the Point 600 metres
North of the Corinth Flyover to O.9km South of the Corinth Flyover.
Project 2: Eight (8km) kilometres on the median of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, South of Chaguanas Overpass to
0.5km South of the Chose Village Flyover.
Project 3: Nine (9km) kilometres on the Uriah Butler Highway between the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and Munroe
Tender documents can be collected during normal working hours at the Central Tenders Board's Office, 116, Frederick

A pre-tender meeting followed by site visit will be held for prospective tenderers on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 9.30 a.m.
at the Interchange Conference Room, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Comer Uriah Butler Highway and Churchill
Tenders must be accompanied by valid:
(I) Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of Inland Revenue and dated not
more than six (6)months prior to the closing date of the tender;
(ii) Certificate of Compliance issued In accordance with the National Insurance Act.
The original and three (3) copies of the tender must be deposited in the BROWN Tenders Box, located in the lobby of
the Board's Office not later than 1.00 p.m on Thursday, May 01, 2014.
Envelopes must be addressed to the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, 116 Frederick Street, Port- of-Spain and clearly
marked on the outside

Tenders will be opened shortly thereafter. The tenderer or an authorised Representative may be present at the opening.
Tenderers should note that the dimensions of the slot In the tenders Box are 37.5 cm x 5.5 cm and as such, tenders should
be packaged accordingly.
Late tenders will NOT be considered In any circumstances.
The Board does not bind itself to accept any proposal.
The Central Tenders Board reserves the right to cancel the bidding process in its entirety or partially, without defraying any
cost incurred by any firm in submitting their tender.

A double from Sahrai Mitchell and Levi
Jones each helped DirecTV W Connection
to the Under-8 title of the Carapichaima
Youth Football Super League, on Satur-
day, as the club went defeated Crown
Trace FC 4-0 in the final, at the Waterloo
Secondary School Ground.
Mitchell and Jones, both of whom had
been outstanding en route to the final,
were also both on target when W Con-
nection sealed a 3-0 victory over Tunapuna
Titans in semifinal. Mitchell also scored
a brace in that encounter, while Jones
recorded one goal.
At the end of the tournament, the most
valuable player status of the Under-8 divi-
sion was awarded to Mitchell.

Youths, the latter of which went on to
claim third place.

and medals were presented to the suc-
cessful clubs in the U-8, U-10 and U-12
divisions, all of which were sponsored by
Richard Squires and Company. The Under-
10 title went to Trincity Nationals, which
also produced the MVP---Jordan Roberts,
while Real Gill was named MVP of the U-12 division,
which was won by his club, Trendsetter Hawks.
