EXTENDED DEADLINE/PAYMENT DATE
THE BOARD OF INLAND REVENUE WISHES TO ADVISE
the public that the deadline for submission of 2013 Tax Returns
and FINAL TAX payments of
GREEN FUND LEVY
for year of income 2013 have been extended to JUNE 30, 2014.
Payments made after APRIL 30, 2014, BUT BEFORE JUNE 30, 2014
will not attract any interest.
However, such payments made after
JUNE 30, 2014 will attract interest from MAY 1, 2014
at the rate of 20% per annum.
NOTE: Final Tax is the balance of tax due on April 30 which is
the difference/short-fall between quarterly installments due and
total tax liability.

CHARLOTTE---Another week, another missed cut
for Trinidad and Tobago s Stephen Ames.
The 50-year-old golfer carded a two-over 74 in
the second round of the US$6.9 million Wells Fargo
Championship on Friday, to miss his second straight
cut and the fifth of the 2014 PGA Tour season.
He finished two-over 146 overall with the cut line
Playing at the Quail Hollow Club, Ames opened
with a even-par 72 in Thursday s first round but then
wobbled badly in the second round.
Starting on the front nine, Ames bogeyed the third
to slip to one over and then dropped two shots on
the fourth to plunge to three over.
Things grew worse with another bogey on the
sixth, leaving Ames to make the turn at four over.
