The ICT Administrator & Software/Database Developer reports to the
Human Resource Manager and Executive Management and is respon-
sible for providing ICT Systems Support and to develop database soft-
ware for in-house use only, to help manage the company business.
This position is in a large organisation within a very dynamic industry
with definite opportunity for fast promotional advancement based on
proven capability in the speciality core area of software/database
development and your ability to deliver in-house or outsourced proj-
ects on target.
• A job relevant Bachelor`s degree with experience and/or an
appropriate combination of job relevant alternate qualifications

Tenders are invited for the Supply and Delivery of Vehicles/Mechanical Equipment for the
Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, Ministry of Local Government as follows:-
Item I - One (1) Flat Bed Truck
Item 2 - Three (3) Flat Bed Trucks with half Canopy
Item 3 - One (1) Passenger Bus
Item 4 - One (1) Flat Bed Truck fitted with Aerial Lift
Item 5 - One (1) Car Carrier
Item 6 - One (1) Dump Truck not less than 9 Ton
Item 7 - One (1) Dump Truck not less than 4.5 Ton
Tender documents can be collected between the hours of 9.00 a.m and 10.30 a.m at the Central

Tenders must be accompanied by valid:
(i) Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of Inland
Revenue and dated not more than six (6) months prior to the closing date of the tender
(ii) Certificate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act.
Sealed tenders in DUPLICATE on the approved Tender Form will be received not later than
1.00 pm on Thursday July 17, 2014.
Envelopes must be addressed to the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, 116 Frederick Street,
Port- of-Spain and must be deposited in the BROWN Tenders Box located in the lobby of the
Envelopes must be clearly marked:-

Tenders will be opened shortly thereafter. The tenderer or an authorized representative may be

and as such, tenders should be packaged accordingly.
Late tenders will NOT be considered in any circumstances.
The Board does NOT bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender.
The Central Tenders Board reserves the right to cancel the present notice in its entirety or par-
tially, without defraying any cost incurred by any firm in submitting their tender.

A zoo, a paid parking system in Scarbor-
ough and a marina development are among
29 new projects targeted for pre-investment
support in fiscal year 2015 by Joel Jack,
Finance and Enterprise Development Sec-
retary in the Tobago House of Assembly
(THA) in his 2015 Budget presentation.
Jack said $25 million of his $5.68 billion
budget will be used for the pre-investment
support programme. He has allocated $3.13
billion for recurrent expenditure and $2.55
billion for the development programme. The
recurrent estimates represent an increase of
$163.86 million and $1.31 billion over the
revised estimates for 2014.
Jack said the budget was prepared after
extensive consultations with various interest
groups, a budget survey and the Compre-
hensive Economic Development Plan for
Tobago (CEDP 2.0).
Highlights of the proposed 2015 budget
• $20.1m support for the Information Tech-
• $5m funding for establishment of a Public
Private Partnership (PPP) unit
• $11.4m funding for the T&T Hospitality
and Tourism Institute (TTHTI)
• $330m continued support of the airlift
• $16.5m continued assistance to small
properties in the tourism industry
• $12.1 m to Tobago tourism festivals
• $463.1m for Tobago Regional Health
• $54.1m for Cepep
THA seeks $2.55b for development
Energy Minister Kevin Ramnarine met with Minister of State for Petroleum
and Natural Gas of the Government of India, Dharmendra Pradhan on the
margins of the recently concluded 21st World Petroleum Congress in
Moscow, Russia. Also attending the meeting was BC Tripathi, chairman of
Gas Authority of India Ltd and Selwyn Lashley permanent secretary in the
Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs. Discussions centred on co-operation
between T&T and India in the LNG business. T&T is the sixth largest exporter
of LNG in the world and has been exporting LNG since 1999. Here Ramnarine,
