CENTRAL TENDERS BOARD
Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Mechanical Equipment for the
Mechanical Services Division, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure
Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Mechanical Equipment for the Mechanical Services
Division, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure as follows:-
Item I - One (1) Wheel Digger Loader (1.3) cubic yard bucket
Item 2 - Two (2) Front End Wheel Loaders (3) cubic yard bucket
Item 3 - One (1) 12 Tonne Track Tractor
Item 4 - Two (2) Four Wheel Drive Trucks Factory fitted with Stainless Steel Water Tank
Tender documents can be collected during normal working hours at the Central Tenders Board's
Office, 116 Frederick Street, Port-of-Spain. Telephone No. 1-868-625-4330, Fax No. 1-868 625-1809.
Any technical information can be obtained during normal working hours from Mr. Rabindranath
Jogie, Director, Mechanical Services Division, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure at Telephone
Tenders must be accompanied by valid:
(i) Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of Inland
Revenue and dated not more than six (6) months prior to the closing date of the tender;
(ii) Certificate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act.
Sealed tenders in TRIPLICATE on the approved Tender Form will be received not later than
1.00 pm on Thursday September 4th 2014.
Envelopes must be addressed to the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, 116 Frederick Street,
Port- of-Spain and must be deposited in the BROWN Tenders Box located in the lobby of the

Tenders will be opened shortly thereafter. The tenderer or his authorized representative may be
present at the opening.
Tenderers should note that the dimensions of the slot of the Tenders Box are 37.5 cm x 5.5 cm
and as such, tenders should be packaged accordingly.
Late tenders will NOT be considered in any circumstances.
The Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender.
The Central Tenders Board reserves the right to cancel the present notice in its entirety or partially,
without defraying any cost incurred by any firm in submitting their tender.

Building on a successful re-launch
last year, the BPTT Mayaro Basketball
League promises to reach new heights
in 2014 judging by the exhilarating
start to the competition at the Mayaro
Indoor Sports Facility on Saturday.
Organised by the Mayaro-based
South Corner Basketball Foundation
(SCBF) and sponsored by energy com-
pany BP T&T, this league is filling a
void by offering basketball players in
south-east Trinidad a forum to play
at a competitive level.

Liaison Officer, underlined the value
of the league. Pierre said: "In its com-
mitment to providing opportunities
for young people, sport is one of the
pillars that bpTT invests in across our

form to take it to the next level.

featured a parade of teams and the
T&T Police Service demonstrated pre-
cision in defending their march past
champion status. Port-of-Spain Trail-
blazers and Mayaro Boys rounded off
the top marching spots.
So far, 14 teams have registered for
the competition and will be competing
across one or more of the various
divisions. As a taste of the excitement
that the league promises, the launch
also featured two games. The first
was an Under-21 fixture that saw the
Port-of-Spain Trailblazers trounce
Mayaro Boys 82-57.
The other fixture of the evening
was a premier division match-up
between the T&T Police Service and
Sangre Grande All Stars. Strong
defence and methodical play defined
the chess-like game that saw the
Police team eventually break away to
defeat the Grande players by a margin
